Swim and shoot hoops energy off in the Russell Township pool, run a pickleball tournament that settles old scores, or post up at the Sunrise Beach private dock and watch the boats roll by. Evenings end the way they should: in the hot tub, replaying the day.

Planning notes
The lake area is built for this kind of trip. Marinas rent boats and personal watercraft by the day, waterfront bars and restaurants line the shore, and golf courses sit a short drive away — so you can stack the weekend exactly the way the groom wants it.
Stocking up is easy: Camdenton and Osage Beach have full grocery runs, so the house fridge is one trip away from being ready. Bring the coolers, bring the playlists, bring the embarrassing stories.
One honest note: our houses are booked for up to 16 registered overnight guests each. If your plans include daytime visitors or anything beyond the overnight crew, tell us up front — gatherings beyond registered guests require separate confirmation, and we'd rather sort it out before you arrive than after.

Both work. Russell Township has the pool, hot tub, and pickleball court for an all-day hang at the house. Sunrise Beach puts you right on the water with a private dock and hot tub. Many groups choose based on whether they want pool days or lake days.
