We had a great little getaway with our kids here right before Christmas! The host was very helpful and responsive, and the space was clean, comfortable, and fun. Our boys thought the different levels of the house were great for hide and seek and we all enjoyed the game room and hot tub. It’s close to plenty of things to do in the area as well. We were able to enjoy a few different hikes (castle ruins and rocky top), toured Bridal Cave, and went ice skating at Kinderhook. There were only a few small details that could be improved upon. During a winter stay it would be lovely to be able to use the fireplace and there were a few fix-it items like cabinet handles not fully attached, etc. I always appreciate laundry facilities when traveling with kids, too, but a laundry basket would be helpful. Again, none of these things were major inconveniences. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Thank you!!

This stay was absolutely wonderful. The beds were comfortable, the space was clean, and the view of the lake was amazing. We had a big group and had enough room for everyone to feel comfortable. There were a few minor bugs with the interior of the house itself, such as a broken cabinet door, but nothing that takes away from the beautiful home overall.

Kelley saved our family reunion/birthday celebration and get together! After our original booking fell thru (with another owner) due to water issues and the property they offered as a replacement didn’t meet our family needs I hopped onto to air bnb to see if we might be lucky enough to find something available immediately and Kelley respond within minutes and met us at the property to clean it as they hadn’t had a chance to turn it over from a previous stay yet. He let us in since we had my elderly mother and a 2 month old with us as well while they took care of the property. We are so grateful for their responsiveness and quick turn around to help is out!
